Fixed Wire Testing

It is designed to keep your customer and staff safe, and it will ensure that all stakeholders know you are being electrically compliant. Insurance companies won’t pay out unless they see an EICR Certificate.

Yes, An Electrical condition installation report (EICR) is the same as a fixed wire test. You may also see it called a Periodic Inspection Report (PIR). Sorry!

The average prices are here. If you want to know more, an article on the matter is here.

No, this service is designed for those customers who have an up to date history of compliance. We need the previous certificate test results to ensure minimal variance in the new testing measurements. Without knowing the variance we cannot be sure that those areas of the site not being tested will be of the correct value to be classed as satisfactory.

We don’t work on a first-in, first-out basis. We work with clients to test around their time scales and deliver to the timetable. Some clients’ testing is part of their routine pre-planned compliance, whilst others need the report urgently for insurance to remain covered. We know everyone is different, so we are flexible.

An engineer can test between 4-6 circuits per hour. We tend to send two engineers to the site for larger jobs depending on the size and complexity. As part of the consultation process, we can give you some estimates of the duration of the testing.

We say about ten working days, although again, it depends on the size and complexity of the report. Of course, again, if the report is urgent, we will work to reduce that delivery time for you.

We just feel one size does not fit all. We believe that clients should only pay for what they need as long as they are transparent about what test they are going to receive and all the testing is compliant with the latest 18th edition regulations.

Yes, if the report is unsatisfactory, we will provide you with a competitive quote to make all the repairs. Once all the repairs have been made, we will supply you with new certifications as evidence of compliance.

Yes . We will prove you with you a  commercial debrief of the certificate either via zoom or we will send you a video debrief if that helps
